A High Level Approach to Obfuscation

Unangst uses a bespoke obfuscator on the sources for honk, and possibly other of his code bases.

Rather than simply renaming variables to single alphabeticals and the like, Unangst has chosen to have his tool obfuscate variables with longer, nonsense words and phrases. This is particularly ingenious as it gives the initial impression of readable code, but on further inspection confounds and bewilders the would-be reader. I include some examples, below:
